MAJCC visits with Senator Harriette Chandler to discuss mental health needs of court-involved youth and families:  Ed Brennan, Esq, MAJCC lobbyist; Julie Ann Lamacchia, Program Director Worcester Juvenile Court Clinic; Senator Chandler, Assistant Majority Whip; Rebecca Pries, ACS MAJCC Co-Chair, Peter Herzig, ACS Development Assistant.

You can also be a vital part of our grassroots advocacy efforts by learning about MAJCC.  In 2005, ACS helped to organize the Massachusetts Alliance of Juvenile Court Clinics (MAJCC). The goals of the Alliance are to make public sector decision makers aware of the growing mental health and substance abuse needs of court-involved youth and to increase public funding to better meet these needs. Increased public sector funding would have a significant positive impact on the sustainability of ACS services in the future.
